Focusing on number and place value for Key Stage 1 and 2, the cards help children identify, represent, and estimate numbers using different representations. They also facilitate solving multi-step addition and subtraction problems, enabling children to decide which operations and methods to use and why.
The activities encourage mathematical oracy, allowing children to express their thoughts and ideas fluently through speech, and articulate their mathematical thinking and reasoning.
