Overview

Approved by Basketball England with the logo on the backboard, this unit is easy to set up and perfect for primary aged children.

The portable unit has a wheeled base (50 litre capacity), enabling quick and easy setup, and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It has a shatterproof 81cm x 58cm high-density polyethylene backboard for excellent performance, and pole padding for player safety. The unit is suitable for use with size 3 and size 5 basketballs.

The unit has been upgraded and now includes an extra pole piece, enabling a maximum height of 2.6m and minimum of 1.65m, catering to various ages, promoting an inclusive environment and supporting children’s physical growth. This versatility enhances both the engagement and the development of coordination and basic movement skills.
In alignment with Key Stage 1 and 2 requirements, the basketball set supports essential physical education aims. It encourages participation in team games and the development of simple tactics, ideal for fostering a sense of team spirit and introducing strategic gameplay.
