This role play kitchen fridge and freezer unit has full length hinges to help prevent finger trapping. Taller, at eye level, this unit has been designed to consider children’s physical development as they reach, bend, stretch and pull.

As a store for many types of foods, the Fridge Freezer could be a useful prompt to start conversations with children about their own home life and cultures as they talk about their favourite foods, and what ingredients they need to create their delicious dishes. This can provide children with many opportunities for language and vocabulary development as they discuss the different names of foods and how they are grown or prepared.
